Focus on the Jarina seed
The Jarina is a palm tree (Phytelephas Macrocarpa) endemic to South America, from Panama to Brazil, passing through Peru and Venezuela.
The seed is known as "vegetable ivory".

After drying, the nuts become very resistant, allowing them to be cut and polished.
