Choosing the size of your miçanga bracelets

Most bracelets are closed and rigid.

The size described in the product descriptions gives the diameter of the bracelet, in mm.

To determine your approximate size for a rigid bracelet, you need to measure the size of your palm to ensure it fits within the bracelet's diameter at its widest point, as shown in the image below. Add 0.3 mm or 0.4 mm.

Refer to the conversion chart below to determine the minimum size for your bracelet. You can select one or two sizes larger depending on your preference.

Caring for your natural jewelry

Natives use local plant seeds or multicolored beads for their jewelry.

Most of these products are therefore of natural origin and require some advice to preserve them well:

- Avoid contact with water, sweat or humidity;

- Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes, alcohol and other chemicals;

- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun;

- Avoid rubbing with objects and surfaces that could scratch your jewelry;

- Some earrings are made with 925 silver hooks or posts. It is normal for silver to tarnish over time due to contact with gases in the environment. If this happens, to restore its original shine, simply clean the metallic part of the earring with a "magic" cloth specially designed for cleaning precious metals;

- After each use, clean your jewelry only with a soft, dry cloth, then store it individually in its original fabric packaging, in a dry and airy place.
