In Brazil, Miçanga refers to a small colored glass bead traditionally used by many Indigenous peoples to create jewelry and ornaments.

The beads used for these pieces are made in the Czech Republic, a country internationally known for its glassmaking expertise. Valued for their quality, consistency and intense colors, they are well established in the world of glass beads.

Tucumã is the fruit of an Amazonian palm, including the species Astrocaryum vulgare. The fruit and its different parts are used locally, including in food and craftwork.

How to wear it

Delicate and understated, this necklace works beautifully with a modest neckline that reveals the small turtle and naturally highlights the pendant. It can also be worn with a higher neckline, preferably in a plain fabric so the jewelry retains its delicacy and subtly draws the eye.
